Long Form:

The Challenge Magazine Fantasy League Racing Game lets you select seven (7) drivers before each NASCAR race weekend and earn points according to their actual race results.  The game offers “pre-season” play from 4th of July weekend through the beginning of September, right before the “Chase” begins.

No prizes are awarded during the pre-season, but weekly and championship prizes will be awarded during the official game period, which coincides with the final 10 race weekends of the NASCAR season.

Players must select at least one driver per race scheduled, and points are only awarded to drivers who finish 16th or better. After selecting a driver for each scheduled event, players can select their extra drivers – to complete their seven-driver roster -- in any of the other scheduled series.

Example: When there is only one race scheduled for a weekend, players will select seven drivers in that one race.  When there are two races scheduled, players must select a driver for each race before selecting their additional five drivers in either of the two races.  When there are three races scheduled, players must select one driver per race before selecting the extra four drivers that complete their weekly seven-driver lineup.

Players can enter or change their driver selections at anytime up until 12:00 Noon EST (11:00 AM during Daytlight Savings Time) on the day of each round or weekend's first race.  On most weekends the first race is on a Friday, so most deadlines for selecting drivers will be at 12 Noon (11:00 AM during Daytlight Savings Time) on Friday.  On weekends/rounds with the first race on Saturday, the deadline for selecting drivers is Noon on Saturday.  In August there is a Truck race on Wednesday evening at Bristol, so the deadline for selecting all seven drivers will be at Noon EST on Wednesday, August 20th.

Players will receive points according to the results of those drivers listed in their team's select drivers screen as of each weekend/round's registration deadline.

Scoring:

Player's selected drivers will earn points only if they finish in the top 16 places for that race. Points are awarded for finishing position, qualifying, type of car, and leading a lap.

At the end of the official game period, championship prizes will be awarded to the top three players in cumulative points from those 10 rounds or weekends.
