What if I never received a confirmation email?
When you register, and click the 'Submit Registration' button at the bottom of the page, you are automatically sending the confirmation email to the email address you listed. If you don't receive the email with the link that completes the registration process, either you input the wrong email address or your service provider (like AOL, Yahoo!, Comcast, etc.) is blocking emails from registration@ptcchallengefmfl.com. You can re-register using a different email address, or you can check your spam, bulk mail and junk mail folders. Finally, you can contact your service provider and instruct them to allow emails from registration@ptcchallengefmfl.com.
What if I want another email confirmation sent?
After you are sure you have taken the necessary steps to receive our email, simply re-register with the same information and another confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address. What if I get a new email address?
Go to the My Profile page, scroll down to the bottom and enter your new email addy. You'll have to submit your old password to make the change, and you can also change your password there. If I re-register with a different email address, can I use the same team name and password that I submitted the first time? Yes. Nothing is saved in the game database until you click on the confirmation link that is sent when you click the 'Submit Registration' button. What if I type in my login ID and password, but the page refreshes and it says "The information you provided is not valid?" Then you have not clicked on the confirmation email sent to the address you listed while registering, and your registration is not complete. Check spam and bulk folders, or contact your internet service provider to see if they are blocking emails from registration@ptcchallengefmfl.com. Why is it that I get no replies when I try to contact the game administrators? Because your email provider won't let our replies through. We receive your emails, and we reply as quickly as possible, but your email provider won't let our response emails through.
Or, the answer to your question can be found in our FAQs or Contact Us section. What if I forget to select my drivers?
You will score zero points. What if I swear I selected my drivers but they somehow disappeared or were changed by ghosts? You will score as many points as earned by the drivers in your official starting lineup at time of deadline. When drivers are selected, that information goes into a database and cannot be removed or altered by anyone except the player; driver selections simply cannot disappear. At all. Ever. What if a driver isn't listed in the driver selection menu when I pick my starters? The league strives to have all available drivers per series listed on the driver selection menu. Occasionally, last-minute or late driver changes will occur and the league will make its best effort to add those new drivers as soon as that information becomes available. What if a race is postponed? If a race is postponed, the driver scores will not be calculated until the race is finally run. This means that the weekend/round will not close or be completed until the postponed race is completed. When the postponed race is run, players are not allowed to re-select their drivers. The postponed race is not counted as one of the races for the weekend/round when it finally runs. What if a race is cancelled? If a race is cancelled, never to be completed, then each player's driver selections for that particular race will receive no scores, and the round will be considered complete. Does the league use the official order of finish in distributing the driver points? The Challenge Magazine Fantasy League Racing Game uses the official release of race results to assign driver points. What if the results change after the first official release of the finishing order? Like if a car is disqualified? Or a team or driver is penalized or suspended or fined in some way that also changes the final, official race results? Points are awarded based on the actual order of finish at the end of each race, according to the official results. Challenge Magazine Fantasy League Racing scores will be posted but not become official until the sanctioning body posts them as official, at which time prizes will be awarded. What if my driver qualifies the car but doesn't start the race?
That driver will get no points. The only way a driver can get Challenge Magazine Fantasy League Racing points is by starting the race and having his car finish the race. What if my driver qualifies the car, starts the race, but has a substitute driver finish the race for him? Your starting driver will receive Challenge Magazine Fantasy League Racing points. (The sub gets squat.) What if my driver doesn't qualify the car but starts and finishes the race?
If he finishes in the top 16 he will receive Challenge Magazine Fantasy League Racing points, including bonus points. What if my driver doesn't qualify and doesn't start the race, but takes over the car during the race and finishes in the top 16? Sorry, no Challenge Magazine Fantasy League Racing points will be awarded to the driver who finishes, but they will be awarded to the driver who starts the race. (The sub gets squat) What if my driver qualifies one car but finishes in someone else's car, in the top 16? Sorry, no Challenge Magazine Fantasy League Racing points will be awarded to that driver unless the car that he or she started finishes in the top 16. What's the tiebreaker? The tiebreaker system is based on each team's score for the previous weekend of racing. The team that scored the higher number of points for the previous weekend/round is selected as the prize winner. Example: Let's say it's Monday morning after the race weekend. Six teams are tied for Top Dawg with the same number of points, the most among all teams in the league. The tiebreaker checks each of those team's scores for the previous weekend/round and awards the Top Dawg prize to the team with the highest score for the week prior. If a tie still exists, the tiebreaker moves back to the weekend/round previous to that; and so on, and so on. If the tiebreaker procedure runs out of weekends/rounds and still can't determine a winner, one winner will be chosen according to earliest registration date. How do I find out if I won a prize? Each week, the results and to-date standings of the Challenge Magazine Fantasy League Racing Game are posted online, and winners will be identified in the Top Dawg report and notified by email. How do I get my prize? The Challenge Magazine Fantasy League Racing Game will mail the appropriate prize to each eligible winner within two weeks of the winning weekend/round. Any prize returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner.
